A little sad,we finished Beyond today

Post by spidermansmum » Fri Oct 21, 2011 4:00 pm

Today was Nathan's last day in Beyond .I showed Nathan week 1's spellings-just to show him how far he had come in the last 15 months. He was really suprised-and I have to say it was good for me to go back and look at how far we have come too.Sometimes when your with your child every day -you don't see how much they have grown.Time goes so fast and is so precious.I have so many happy memories of HOD Beyond .Thankyou Carrie. It been an amazing journey .
So I think we are ready to start the new challenge of Bigger on Monday.

Finishing is bittersweet, huh? Lots of good stuff coming up in Bigger tho. Enjoy it!

And what a great idea to go back and look at week 1's work. I'll make sure to do that. We just finished week 10 and I already see nice progress.

Congratulations on completing Beyond! It's great that you went back and looked at how far you've come. You are so right that it is difficult sometimes to see the progress on a day to day basis, but when you go back to the beginning of a guide, you can see huge improvements. It is sad to finish a guide but satisfying too. You have a lot of great days ahead of you in Bigger. We really loved it here! :D

I too am impressed you went back to look again at the work from week 1. I know my daughter's copywork has improved dramatically from week 1 (but I also knew going into it that this was her weakest area so we have been working really hard on it).

Congrats on finishing, and it sounds like you finished well!

We are right behind you with 2 1/2 weeks left. I am sad too, but of course excited to start Bigger. I too can see the huge accomplishments from beginning to end.

I'm celebrating with you today! What a blessing to finish. I agree that finishing is always bittersweet. It is wonderful to think back on how much has been accomplished, how much your little sweetie has grown and changed, and how much closer you've grown to the Lord. :D The years fly by! We have thoroughly enjoyed sharing the journey with you! :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Congratulations, to both Nathan and you too, spidermansmum! :D :D :D That was a great idea to have Nathan look back to see the progress he's made. Too often we are just on to the next thing - it's so important to stop and celebrate, to smell the roses. I'm so glad you did that, and while we loved Beyond, we loved Bigger Hearts too - so you have some great days ahead of you. :D
