Kindergarten Graduation

This week is our last of LHFHG K. My daughter had grown so much. It was just in January, I was celebrating the reading of her first word Cat. Two nights ago she read Dr. Suess'
Green Eggs and Ham (with a little help)
Thank you HOD for such a spectacular year. We are repeating LHFHG with 1st grade workbooks and using Beyond's math activities. I can not wait for January. I am ordering a little cap and gown from oriental trading for a little ceremony to celebrate her big achievement pics to come in a few weeks =)

What a neat idea to order a cap and gown. I didn't know Oriental Trading had those. I dug out my 8th grade graduation cap and put it on my son when we had his kindergarten graduation ceremony. Congratulations!

My dd finished K last week.
Her b-day is Oct. 31st so we started K last fall and took it kinda slow. This week she started 1st grade with Beyond, and she is loving it. She told me mommy 1st grade is easy, but I get to do more things.

I think we must see pics of the K Graduation!
That is such a cute idea to use a cap and gown. Congrats to the little graduate, to HOD for making it a fun-filled year of learning, and to mom for making it all happen.
