Prayer request

Hi ladies, after a nearly 3 year battle with our lender we have decided to let our house go. We have found a rental we like, but have to gather the funds for moving costs, security deposit, etc-expecting some funds to come in but we need them NOW. We only managed one day of HOD this week because of hubby and me looking for a place-dh has had to take some time off work too, and I have fallen behind on my college work. Please pray that all goes smoothly, that we are able to get the place we like, and that all necessary funds will show up right on time. We are turning in a rental application today. Also pray we don't get stressed out! We have sooo much stuff....time to declutter big-time

Praying for you Lourdes. It's not an easy situation to be in but God is there with you every step of the way.

Hi Lourdes,
I will be praying for what you have specifically requested. In all of life's trials and tribulations, we know that good can come from them, and we are refined and He uses them for His glory if we will let Him. Thank the Lord for your (and our) faith in Christ! Hugs!
Prayers...Shannon

Dear Lourdes,
I have thought and prayed for your often, wondering how you were doing in all of this. I will continue praying, according to your specific requests. I thank God that you continue to seek to rest in Him through this difficulty. May He bless you, your dh and dc with a continued sense of His peace and presence.

Lourdes,
We went through this a year ago. As you can see we are in South Florida. I think Nevada, Florida and Arizona were the hardest hit by the housing crash. I can tell you God is there, and he has a plan. There have been some challenges, but through it all, we've been blessed. I will be praying for you. We've learned so much by all this. PM me if you would like to talk more. I know exactly what you are going through.
Blessings,
Tracy

Lourdes praying that God would bless and provide for you. That He would bring you peace and comfort in your new home. And that He would bring you peace beyond all understanding in the transition.

Thank you all-I am so blessed to be a part of this group. All of you had words that meant so much to me today. After much back and forth, finally at 8 PM tonight, the homeowner's realtor came to meet us and, after chatting with us a little while and taking pictures of our dogs, said she is going to recommend that the owner rent to us. So, it's a yes from her
Now we wait to hear the owner's decision tomorrow...God is good, I believe in His favor...

Praying for you and your family, Lourdes. I'm praying (and love to cling to) Romans 8:28, that He would work this all out for your good and His glory.

The word...is YES. I am so relieved to know we have a place to go. God is truly faithful. Sadly, the owner still said no to the cats and the bigger dog...but I believe God cares for our sweet animals too, and will help us find a good home for each of them. We asked our church office to advertise to the congregation. At least we can keep our pesky little chihuahua, and she will be the little princess of the household. I am trying to see the good in losing some of the pets-1)I'm actually allergic to cats, they cause me to wheeze 2)the bigger dog is getting old-she may not have many years left 3)it will be less expensive to keep only one small pet. God is gracious to give us a fresh start with a nice home. My Dan is really in love with the huge 2-car garage, since our current house only has a tiny 1-car garage that he has never parked the car in-I joked with him, he should park it here just once, the day we leave
I am happy, but my momma's heart is sad for the kiddos
I know God will take care of them, too
After all this moving is done, I will resume HOD with the girls-there is no way I am going to get school done right now-so we are taking a few weeks off! Keri is actually doing some work on her own each day, so we can start slow with catch-up in our new place. Tamara is doing lots of reading on her own. By the time we start again, the girls may be in the same unit of each of their guides
