My 6yo son just would not say anything when I would ask after the chapter. I would say so what happened and he would shrug and say "I don't know" almost every time but when I gave him prompts he could tell me. So I have notices the past couple of weeks he has actually started telling me what happened. We are in week 6 of Beyond. My older ones never really learned how to narrate so this is so good for me. I thought he may not ever get it. :-/
But it does work and he is getting it.

That is wonderful! It sounds like he is really taking off in his narration skills. Way to go both of you!
