"What I don't like...
about public school is that they don't teach that so many of the people who built this nation were Christians." My 13-year-old's unsolicited comment after one and a half units of Rev to Rev-yes, the same dd who was begging to go back to public school all summer

Pretty perceptive dd you have there, Lourdes. 
I too could not believe how much of the Christian focus of our nation was edited out of ps textbooks. I'm so glad we are able to have a well-rounded, accurate view of history with HOD. Many of the heroes of our nation were Christian - I love my sons looking up to them and being inspired by not only their political accomplishments, but also their faith in the Lord. Your dd is in good company - my ds and I would agree with her comment whole-heartedly.
