Two Days Into 4 Guides

Post by blessedmama » Tue Sep 13, 2011 7:17 pm

Well, I am two days into four guides! I have to say that tonight I am wiped out!! It is going really well but our day has to be laid out just so so that we don't have to "do school" all day. So for those of you who wonder if you could do more than one guide, yep! Prayer, organization and a big Mountain Dew (in that order)!!!!

Sara,

I am so glad that you are doing alright! I have been away from the board off and on, so I'm not sure which 4 guides you are doing. I just wanted to pop-in and share that with the ages I'm seeing listed in your signature, it is likely possible that you could be doing 2 guides instead of 4. You will certainly know best, and it is possible to do 4 guides, as we're doing it ourselves this year. :D However, I would hate for you to have more work than needed for the long haul. So, it's good to keep in mind that you could reassess and combine kiddos as needed, setting you up for a more manageable schedule in the long run. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

Carrie,

Thanks for the insight! We actually found it is easier at this point to seperate guides because of the vast difference in abilities right now. I am actually enjoying the process. I am an organizer so for me it was a matter of just figuring out when to do what. My olders are helping my youngest with RIM and History, which is turning out beautifully!!

Thank you so much for such wonderful guides!! We are all so blessed to have you paving the way for us! Blessings to you and your family in this journey!

Sara :D

I'm glad to hear it! You would definitely know best what works for your family. :D I just didn't want you to be snowed under for years to come! :D

The wonderful part is that you always have a back up plan in your hip pocket to combine later on if you find that works better at some point in the future. HOD can flex with your growing children and changing needs. :D

Blessings,
Carrie
