Just finished up CTC unit 1 with my 10 yo DD. We are both loving it...it seems to take a long time though...not sure how to speed it up..maybe just getting used to it. Anyway, my question is about the Geography book on the Holy land. There are'nt really maps in the book and it keeps refering to the map of Turkey and this and that feature of Turkey on the map??? Obviously I need to get a good map or Bible atlas. What do you all use for this and which Bible atlas have you liked? Should I get one with both ancient/biblical geography as well as modern???

Do you have the CD Rom at the back of the book? The maps are printables from the CD.

Yes there is a cd rom included with the book that you can use to print the maps... When we started HOD last year it took us a little while to get going in a good routine. I think it was about a month before we really got it together and got into a good routine. I was also doing 3 guides though, so it may not take you this long!
