Making my own version of Beyond extensions?

I've combined my 3rd grader and 1st grader in Beyond. Everything is going great!! We are loving HOD!

I have my 3rd grader doing LA and math on her level, and now I'm trying to put together my own small "extension" package for her. I'm looking for additional reading that will correspond with what we are studying in Beyond. She is a strong, independent reader that makes her way through chapter books quickly with great comprehension. My sweet husband has decided he wants to help her with some independent study and projects, but wanted me to compile the book list. I would love some suggestions!

I think someone just recently did this. I can't remember who. Hopefully they will pop in here. In the meantime, I will try and do a search for the thread.

Thank you Angie. That did help. I think I've gotten most of the areas covered except for some additional history reading. I would love some specific titles, and to make sure that they weren't titles that would be used later in Bigger's extensions.
