I am glad I could help. I did want to clairify that my kids start the week with $2 and they get marks for misbehaving. Each mark, at the end of the day, is worth 5 cents. By the end of the week, they can have anywhere between $5 (by saving money from week to week) and $0 left! Our school store is very simple with the $2 prizes being mostly the "movie theatre" type candy boxes. We also have $1 blow pops, $1 Reece Cups, and 25 cent cow tails.

Sometimes we have 50 cent items in there too (a pack of gum, etc). Mostly our school store is candy because we do not allow candy most of the time and this is a real treat for them one time a week. It is also cheap for me. I spend about $20 every 3 months on the store stuff. We use pretend money for the school store and I allow the boys to "save" anything they don't spend and use it toward the next week.
I hope this system works as well for you as it has for us.
