Carrie,
For us hardcore CM lovers, where do we find the modern english versions? I might actually get through a few more of her books :D if I could get my hands on those. I am soooo loving all the great CM discussions.
Thank you again, Carrie, for all of your research. Now we can implement (appropriately) so many of Miss Mason's great teaching philosophies. I'll be tuning in for more fun talks.

P.S. Does anyone know what Lessons from Blackberry Inn by Karen Andreola is? I saw the book on one of the HOD ladie's blogs. Sorry, I can't remember who's. I thought it might be another good one? I didn't find any info on the Andreola's website.

I just looked this up...it's a sequel to Pocketfull of Pinecones!!! How fun. I really enjoyed that book, actually liked it better than Charlotte Mason Companion. But my all time favorite is For the Children's Sake, which I read every year :) It's been nice to get some ideas for new books from this thread!

I have enjoyed having on hand Charlotte Mason Summaries by Leslie Noelani Laurio (from Ambleside Online) for quick reference. I also liked Home Education in Modern English: Volume 1 of Charlotte Mason's Series by Lelise Noelani Laurio and Towards a Philosophy of Education in Modern English: Volume 6 of Charlotte Mason's Series.

I found them at Ambleside  . Sorry I was so slow on that one!

Yes, I'm sorry I missed that too. You can purchase them through Barnes and Noble or through Amazon. Here are the individual links to the Lulu print on demand publisher for the books (volume 1): http://www.lulu.com/content/149755
Volume 6: http://www.lulu.com/content/169285
Summaries: http://www.lulu.com/content/152071

Only volumes 1 and 6 and the summaries are complete in modern english so far.

Blessings,
Carrie
