To teach summaries, should I go back some guides?

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Carrie!!! We are excited to start this new venture in our homeschooling. I just placed my order, following all of your recommendations. We will be excited to see the full Art Appreciation unit from World History when it becomes available. I think that is the only thing we will be adding/substituting from RTR. We already owned the Beautiful Girlhood books and had always wanted to go through them as Mother/Daughter, but never did. Now we have the opportunity to do that. We are both excited about that! My daughter is on board with everything, so we are setting aside the Logic and Bible from WG and she has agreed to do the Medieval History Writing. She is also excited about getting an overview of many of Shakespeare's works, as she had just intently studied a few this last year. We love the idea of putting "extras" like "Mere Christianity" and extra days of "Fine Arts" into the 5th day of the week. That frees us up to just simply focus on the guide 'as is' for the 4 days.

We plan to take 6 weeks off from our guides for Summer Break as you suggested, although I think she might do the WH Health program during that time and she is asking about Driver's Ed. Any thoughts on how else to get those two in? Lastly, our DITHR is all full with your wonderful book choices, except Non-fiction. We can just find something for that on our own, but I was curious if you had any ideas for that one? Anything from WH guide perhaps?
