Today was BOX DAY! It has been fun looking at all the neat books! I think we will have a great year. Preparing looks to be really well balanced. DS will be stretched a little with the poetry because we haven't really read much poetry, but it will be a good skill for him to develop and I love the way it's presented in the guide.

Can't wait to get started!

We just received our Preparing Box a few days ago too; along with LHFHG. It looks Wonderful!! I am looking forward to home schooling this fall in a new way, and am enjoying reading the TMs so much. Thank you Carrie & Julie for this wonderful curriculum. I can't wait to get started too!

We just finished Unit 1 of Preparing (we have done all previous guides except Little Hands) and so far, it is great. We are not doing extensions as my son is in 4th grade and will not be 9 until the end of Sept. The amount of writing is stretching him, but it is a stretch he was more than ready for and just needed the extra push to complete. We can't wait to move along through the guide this year and enjoy all that it brings. This is our 4th year with HOD and between my two sons, we have now done each guide from Little Hearts up to Revival to Revolution.
