Teri,

That is a great story. Thanks for sharing it. We also are trying to get out more and do things. We decided to explore what is right near us more and do some nature journaling. We can't really afford to do big field trips but there are lots of fun free things to do and spending time out doors is one of them.

I think maybe God was showing you that you are already taking good care of your children and that He is right there partner with you to teach them. We all want so much for our children and sometimes I think God really does have something simpler in mind. :D

Teri,

What a great story! I love the way that God uplifts and encourages us when we cry out to Him. We are not field trippers here either! We have to keep life simple to be able to go forward each day! :D So, we settle for the small things in our backyard, and it's amazing how much the kids connect with and pick up that way. :wink:
