Isn't this board great? I love coming here. Such neat ladies to surround myself with. I live in SD, and I love to homeschool through the winter months. Nothing beats snuggling up under the blankets with some hot cocoa and homeschooling while the snow is blowing around outside. It makes it a highlight to homeschool. My favorite days are blizzard days. We are homeschooling happily having fun with HOD in our home, moving forward steadily in our work on a day that we are going to be homeward bound anyway. I feel sorry for dc in ps, as they are at home not able to school, and will be making that day up on a nice spring day when we will be out playing. 
Anyway, we live on a farm and love it. It was our dream as well, and after 12 years of saving money while we fixed up an older home and lived in town, we were finally able to find a small acreage we can afford. We love it here.
