My daughter's response, very funny!

Post by thegracelife » Wed Jul 03, 2013 12:13 pm

We started LHFHG two weeks ago, after my daughter begged to start early. We're loving it so far, but I thought I'd share this little gem with you all today. After we had finished history, I asked her what she thinks she would have done if she was Eve. She looked at me very seriously and said, "Mom, I would have made a snake trap."

We are loving everything though, and I can see my daughter soaking it all in (and my 2 year old son loves to join us during the songs/rhymes!) Thank you for such a wonderful curriculum.

She's a very funny child. She generally has a very logical, and slightly dry sense of humor. It always makes us smile. :D

That is definitely a gem---you'll have to jot down her response in the margin of the LHFHG guide so you can look back on it.
What a perceptive little girl : )

Oh, that's a great idea. Thank you for that! I will do that.

   This one made me laugh out loud. That little gal has a very practical, and I bet pretty useful 99% of the time, way of thinking! I remember my little guy saying in response to our discussion about the Good Samaritan, "Well, I can tell you this, Mom - if I'd paid for the hotel, I guess I just would have stayed with the guy and taken care of him myself."
