From RTR to REV

Post by annaz » Sun Jun 09, 2013 8:57 am

We just completed RTR and I'm wondering now that we'll be moving on to REV, what type of changes we'll have from one guide to the next. Between Preparing and CTC was a jump, not so much from CTC to RTR. What about from RTR to REV? What can I expect?

For us RTR to REV was about the same as CTC to RTR. It seemed like a small jump. The amount of time it takes was a little longer by about a 1/2 hour-45 minutes. Although it was things ds enjoyed so it never seemed long to him. I think it was because some days the science took quite a bit of time. There is a little more reading on some days due to the Inventor study. Where I saw some difference was just in the type of thinking required. The science requires a little deeper thinking and also some of the follow up questions for the storytime require some deeper thinking. The writing program seemed easier for him. It was a little more challenging for me because I wasn't always quite sure what was expected. I guess I am more an IEW person at heart. I like to know exactly what he should be writing. He really liked it though and wrote one of the best stories he has ever written.

I will say having really gone through and looked closely through my MTMM manual I think the jump from Rev to MTMM will be another big jump similar to CTC to RTR.
