When is the next guide
Going to be online? I'm dying to see it!And can't wait to buy it
Re: When is the next guide
Well, I wish I could say tomorrow! I finally do have all of the content to our hardworking web designer. However, he is currently traveling with his family on their annual mission support trip for the next month. He'll work on our web content as time allows, but it isn't going to go quickly with his travel schedule.
There is also quite a bit of proofing back and forth that goes on with this process, so it will be awhile yet before you'll see anything. Whenever we enter a new group of guides, like high school, I know the extras (like the catalog and website) that go along with the writing of the guide will take more time to get in place. However, I am always amazed at how much content must be written for a new grouping and how much time it takes me to write it all! I am glad to be at the point where I at least have the initial content off to our web designer and graphic designer for these projects!
Blessings,
Carrie

I'm just wondering about this too. It's that time of year when we are looking at curriculum for next year and I'm anxious to see a "sample" with the new Geography Guide before we make any decisions. I know you must be working very hard Carrie, but do you have any time frame for us on posting samples?
Thanks,
Shannon

Re: When is the next guide
Ladies,
I have the first week sample done, and we've been showing it at conventions now along with all of the resources and the catalog copy that goes with it. I do have all the content to our web designer too, but timing-wise he is still on his mission support trip and won't be able to begin working on adding content to the web until after June 10. Then, it will still take time to get it all proofed and up for you to view! So, the hold-up is the timing rather than it not being written.
I'm so sorry, but I think we are looking at the end of June.
Blessings,
Carrie

Re: When is the next guide
Any chance you could somehow upload the first week for us to see on the board?
Kind of how people upload their schedules?
I understand if it is too much work, but it sure would be great to see!!
Just an idea...

Re: When is the next guide
This is such a great idea, Carrie. Could you post it in Google Drive and just provide a link to it for us to view or something like that? This would be super helpful. I really need to see it to just get a sense of what the high school years are going to look like.
With Joy!

I believe Carrie said in another thread that the guide would be ready late August - early September.
