I've been pouring over the HOD website for days. We are currently using MFW (loosely) for our 7 and 8 yr old. I'm finding more and more that while it was wonderful for kindergarten and 1st grade, 2nd grade is not working very well for us. While I started with their recommended LA program we switched to the Abeka LA 2 book mid year. It is suggested on the HOD website that if your child has used a program such as Abeka grammar then using English 3 instead of 2 would be better.
I just want to make sure that after using Abeka LA 2 this would still be the recommendation.
