Questions on Recommended Items for a 6 and 4 1/2 year old.

Post by starrynight3128 » Tue Apr 23, 2013 10:09 am

Hello, I have been reading about the Heart of Dakota Curriculum and had a few questions. My daughter just turned 6 and is currently in Kindergarten (at home) and my son is 4 1/2 and will be in Kindergarten this upcoming school year while my daughter will be in 1st grade (they are 18 months apart). Because of the closeness in age, I would need Little Hearts for His Glory for both kids. I am curious how much of the curriculum can be shared between the 2 and what items I need to order an additional copy of. Any help with this would be appreciated!!

The only things you will need two of are the consumable items. Since one is in K and the other 1st you would get the K options for math, handwriting, and fine motor skills for one and the 1st grade for the other. I would just get the K science and use that for both kids. The only other thing you need to pick is phonics. You could probably use the same thing for both but might do the lessons separate if they are on different levels. Little Hearts is a fun guide and perfect for those ages! :)
