Optional Books

So I have ordered BLHFHG for my 6 year old twin girls to start in the fall with the emerging readers set. I have also ordered BHFHG for my 8 year old son. He will be in DITHOR level 2/3. They will do the left side of Beyond together, then he will do the right side of Bigger. My books are here and we are so excited, but I have a question. I did not order the Singapore Answer Sheets or the Book Project Guide for DITHOR. Do I need these? Trying to be budget minded as always. Thank you all!

I have never look at the answer sheet for SM 1a/1b. At that age I sit right by them during math and the problems are pretty simple. For your older child you might want the answers so you can grade easier. I use the Home Instructors guides starting in 2a and they contain the answers. As far as the book projects I use them with my ds and he enjoys them. You do not need the book project book the DITHR TM has 3 options for projects at the end of each genre one of them comes from the Book Projects books. HTH
