A Fist Book in American Histoy

Post by Rachel Stevens » Thu Feb 14, 2013 1:00 pm

I decided to download the digital version of this book from the link on the curriculum content page. Now that we're on Unit 33 in Bigger I'm finding chapters 33 on the World's Fair and 34 on the Panama Canal on not in the down load. I went back to the links. The one from digital library is the one I used and it still does not have those chapters. The other link from francia center doesn't work. Has anyone else encountered this problem? What did you do? Thanks, Rachel

I looked at the links too and the francia one appears to be a link now. I've looked through several online sources and it appears that those chapters are not in the online versions. I had the actual hardcover myself when we did Bigger. I think if I were you I would check out the library on the slight chance to see if they have the book. If not, I would probably just try to find a web page to read about those topics. It won't be the same, but I would hate to have to try to get the actual book that late in the guide if I were you. Though if you have other upcoming students, you might want to consider getting the actual book. :)
