foreign language suggestions

Post by 2girls2boysnme » Sun Feb 10, 2013 9:54 pm

Hi,
I am planning to use bigger hearts for my daughter's third grade year (next school year), and I am wondering about foreign language... what is HOD's recommendation for when to begin? Any advice on what language to teach?
A similar curriculum I was considering teaches latin and greek roots in elementary/middle grades. Does HOD do something similar?

I saw Carrie mention before that a foreign language option will be offered in the high school guides. Not sure which ones though!

I have seen her suggest Getting Started in Spanish...and he also has a Latin program. She uses Hey Andrew! Teach Me Some Greek with her own boys (I think it's actually her husband that does that). I have a suggestion on my blog in my sidebar but can't give you the info here since it's not a suggestion of HOD ;) Come on over to my blog though and you'll see it! {linked in my signature}
