Science in MTM

I am trying to figure out how/what to order. Could anyone who has completed MTM tell me realistically how long the science takes? My ds will be in 9th grade, is a strong reader and very independent with his work.

Last year we chose to do our own science program. This year, we did our own science along side the Inventor study. My ds sees everything assigned in Rev to Rev science and is saving his money to buy HOD science from this year. He is so bummed to have missed it. In light of that, I thought that perhaps next year I would have him do MTM science and continue the current science path. But, I do not want to overload the boy, either.

So, if you have used MTM science and can let me know your experience, it would greatly help me decide what to do...and if it is enough for HIGH SCHOOL credit, if we need to add to it or just continue our current science path.

HTH! I think that is so neat that your ds is saving his own money to be able to buy the science he missed. That is just precious, and one of those things you tuck away in your heart when you are a homeschool mama! You must be doing something very right. Way to go, mom!

Julie, Thank you so much for that link - it is very helpful as I contemplate next year. I knew that you posted the time allotments, but I could not find it and gave up after much searching!
