Hubby Using HOD With Children =)

7 days ago I had oral surgery and have been out of commission. HOD is so organized that my hubby just opens the guide with the kiddos and they read what needs to be done. He is not doing it all in one day (poor guy is tending to a wife as well, a 24/7 job :roll: ) but he's doing a great job. The other day we all sat outside for R&S English time. Something that just doesn't happen these days with mama anymore. I've enjoyed watching him school the children.

My dd Annette, is loving her Guide. She's using Res. to Ref. I know where she is when I see her stack of books.

Wow! That is wonderful! I can't imagine my DH doing anything school related with the kids. He tries to avoid it at all costs.

Continuing to pray for your recovery. I'm amazed at all you've managed so far, based on your blog. Blessings.

What a blessing :) My husband teaches the younger guides once a week while my daughter goes to a learning center for homeschoolers and I teach a class. I feel SO blessed that my husband is willing to pitch in and help me out that way!

That is so special that your dh is pitching in and helping with homeschooling now! :D What precious memories the dc will have from this time! I am also praying for your recovery. I think it is a testimony in itself that you are choosing to praise the Lord in this time of need by finding the good happening around you, while being in the midst of a difficult time yourself. Thanks so much for sharing this :D :D :D , and may you continue to find the Lord's hand at work as you continue to recover!

Your post blessed my soul today, as we pray that our guides will be able to be taught easily. :D I loved the thought of your hubby being able to school your kiddos while you recover from your surgery. I will uplift you in prayer today for the Lord's healing.
