Morning Bells for Mama?!?!?

Post by momofjka » Thu Sep 27, 2012 8:19 am

Morning Bells was supposed to be part of the Bible time with my dd but I found it to be so good, we started using it for our family devotionals in the morning (minus dh because he leaves for work too early). Although it was written for children, I found the little devotionals to be so simple and yet so profound. I feel a little embarrassed to say this, but even I am challenged the readings. I have read alot of good devotionals in my time, but who knew a small devotional book for children would be so effective even for this mama! :) Thank you HOD for including such wonderful books in your curriculum that bless the whole family in so many ways.

Many times this little book has been more for me than my kids. Small and powerful! :D

I could not agree more! :D I learned as much from that little book as my dc did. We also loved "Little Pillows" which is its counterpart used in BHFHG - so you have that to look forward to next year! :D

Oh, I'm so glad to hear this! :D I know what you mean, as I have been so touched by the devotional readings too. Often they come just when I need them most.

Thanks for sharing! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
