Story of the World, Volume 4

Post by deltagal » Sat Sep 22, 2012 4:58 am

This question may have already been asked. I'm just looking over the books for next year and my ds has recently read Story of the World, Volume 4. Any suggestions on what we could do?

Florence,

SOTW 4 is a book that covers MUCH ground in history all over the world! It is a terrific resource and an integral part of MTMM. Truly, when merged with the wide variety of resources contained in MTMM, it provides a fuller picture of world history married with U.S. history of the time. :D

I wouldn't consider replacing SOTW 4, as it can be read again and again. MTMM won't work without it! If you desired to supplement for a high school student, you could consider doing that! It's not necessary to add to MTMM though, as there is plenty there. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

We were discussing this very thing today and how good it would be to revisit SOTW in the context of the other resources. Thanks Carrie. I appreciate you. :D
