Hi Everyone,
Yep, a question already and we only just started.

In the Reading about History box, they are supposed to research and answer one or more of the questions. Do they answer these orally or are they supposed to write out the answers ?
Blessings,

I had my dc do them orally. That's the way we did it in Preparing so I just continued on that way since I didn't see anything telling me any different.

One of my daughters takes notes and gives me the answers to all the questions orally
the other daughter who struggles in this area does only 2 questions and just writes the answers and then shows them to me.
I don't think either of these approaches are wrong its what works best for the child.

Thanks ladies! I just had my dd answer orally, but then I thought it would be kind of good for her to write a short answer. Maybe I will have her work into written answers as the year progresses. Thanks again.

I have my dd answer those orally-they get plenty of practice with written answers through written narrations ( as you will see in Day 4 Reading about History) and short written answers in the Science box on Day 3 of the plans.

When my son started CTC we only did written if the directions said written. We did the rest orally.
