Decisions, decisions...DITHOR or Reader sets??

Post by we6rblessed » Thu May 15, 2008 12:56 pm

I am trying to decide which to use.
The emerging.independent reader set have so many great books...How do you all decide which to use?
I son't want to overlad us. I was thinking maybe to do DITHOR during the summer and stick with the emerging reading schedule during the school year.

What do you all think?
Thanks!

My understanding is that you wouldn't start Drawn until you have finished the emerging readers....they don't overlap at all, one follows the other. Does that help?

I would just keep going through the emergent readers and when you are finished start DITHOR even if it is in the middle of the year. This is what I am planning on doing. Even when we don't "do" school I still have my son read.
