Level 2/3 DITHOR question

Post by alydar » Sun May 06, 2012 9:04 am

I'm getting ready to place my order for the coming school "season". :D I'll be getting Bigger for DS and he'll be starting DITHOR. I saw there is a product called Book Projects to Send Home 2. Is this an optional item or do most of you do this, too? Thanks!

I haven't used it. It is optional.

Yes the Book Projects book is optional. There are 3 projects to choose at the end of each genre and one is the Book Projects activity. However, for me, I am glad we have it because out of the 3 projects one is a group project and I only have 1 in DITHOR, so that option doesn't work as well. So if I didn't have the book I wouldn't have a choice about what project to do. HTH

This might be taken off the boards because I'm not sure if it's ok to post... but you can also, if you want to do a book project instead of one of the other activities, look up online different projects to do for different ages and genres. This is what we do, although now that we are starting to have more kids in DITHOR I might get the book projects book just for ease.

Thank you Lora Beth. :) That's something we would probably do, too, just to have other ideas. I tend to gravitate to my computer for all kinds of "extras" to add in to some of our lessons. :D

I see you are way over yonder in the western part of the state. Hi! :D
