MTMM

I saw the books and resources for this yesterday at the Cincinnati Homeschool Convention and all I can say is Wow! It is such a wonderful looking program. The storytime books look fantastic. The nature journal is amazing! The drawing lessons in there definitely are high school/late middle school worthy.

I got to see the MTMM in MN last weekend and it was amazing. I can not wait to order the books and materials. The main thing that kept me from picking up some of the packages while at the conference is that I know I would want to start reading the books for my own enjoyment and I really don't have the time right now. I will come June, so I am holding out. LOL! I am very impressed with her book choices. I never had this kind of high quality education, and I went to a nice private, college prep high school!!! I am loving learning along with my kids. To be honest, I was worried about the MTMM because we were now going into the high school years with my oldest, and I wanted a full and challenging program for him. But after seeing this, I am sold on staying with HOD for the duration. It is very full and well-rounded, and my kids will walk away with a wonderful and solid history and Bible knowledge, along with their strong writing skills among other things. I couldn't be happier.
I've done all the guides now with at least one child and still feeling the HOD LOVE. LOL!

I am right there with you on reading the books as soon as I get them. I bought Rev to Rev for my ds yesterday and I already started reading George Washington's World. In fact I was enjoying it so much I was was late getting up this morning because I kept wanting to read just one more section.

Lynn, I was going to get on here and post the same thing. BTW, it was so nice meeting you in real life this weekend! I feel so privileged that I got to very thorougly look at all the resources for the MTMM year coming up and I was SO SO SO SO excited and impressed! I just don't know how it's possible to put together something so amazing, but Carrie keeps doing it. As I told my husband, God has just given her an amazing gift to be able to do this and we get to benefit from it. God is very good! :D

Carrie, Julie and Mike were so busy the whole weekend so I know that many more people are discovering HOD and will get to join in the fun, too!
Thank you Carrie, Julie, and Mike so much for ALL that you do for us. May God continue to bless the work of your hands! And I really hope that you are able to rest up a little bit this week, too. I know how tired I feel after a convention, so I can only imagine how exhausted you all are...

Thanks, ladies! :D I get to do MTMM next year myself, and if our booth wasn't swamped, I'd be in the corner huddled up reading the books myself. I can't wait to do MTMM with Wyatt! :D
