Practicing narration on the radio ;)

Post by amarie » Tue Apr 10, 2012 3:51 pm

Hi,

I just wanted to toot a little horn for my son...he is 8, doing Bigger this year. We just started unit 22. Narration has always been a struggle, he is slowly improving, but some days he just looks at me with a blank stare. Anyhow, we have been listening to a Christian radio station the past few days and they have a time in the afternoon when kids can call in and tell about what they learned in school. He looked up the phone number and called, and was thrilled to tell the radio host, with much detail, all about what we read about John Audubon today. We were so proud of him. I wanted to share it with somebody, and figured this would be a good place since we're all working on narration.

That is really neat! I love that the radio station let him do that.
