History Stories for Children - second edition - alt. schedul

Post by deltagal » Fri Apr 06, 2012 10:58 am

Hello,

My LHFHG does not have the alternate schedule for History Stories for children in the front and the link to the pdf on-line only takes you through Unit 31, but today in Unit 32 we returned to History Stories for Children. Could someone help me out with the schedule for History Stories for Children for weeks 32 through the end of the guide?

Thank you.
With Joy!

I just checked my guide. The alternate schedule in my book only goes through Unit 31 as well. I looked at the remaining units, and it looks like History Stories for Children is only used two more times. Perhaps those pages are correct in both? I don't know, we're only half way through. Hopefully someone can clear things up for those last two times. :D

Oh, thank you for checking, yes maybe someone can clear this up for us. What are the page numbers for the last 2 times?

I just checked the book again, and the last two times it is used (Unit 32 Day 5 and Unit 33 Day 1) the page numbers are not correct. There is however a reading from our other history book (History for Little Pilgrims), so my guess is that the second edition of History stories for Children does not have these two lessons in it like the first edition did. If people had the first edition of History Stories for Children, they could read from both texts for those days, otherwise we can just read from History for Little Pilgrims. Hopefully that's right.

Yes, I think you are right. I just double-checked it myself. We must not use History Stories for Children (2nd edition) on those last 2 days.

I think you'll find the answer in this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9347&p=68176&hilit= ... ren#p68176

Basically, this part

Unit 31:
Day 1: p. 168-169
Day 2: p. 111-112

should read

Unit 32:
Day 5: p. 168-169

Unit 33:
Day 1: p. 111-112
