What sticky tabs do you use?

Post by lissiejo » Tue Apr 03, 2012 12:12 pm

I started using sticky tabs to keep my place in my guide after reading this wonderful revelation somewhere on this board.

BUT...

When I used the tabs it stuck to the paper in the guide too much and took off some of the paper! YIKES! I've tried several different ones, but they all did this. Any suggestions about which brand of tabs to use? Mine were tabs my husband got as a promotional thing from some conference, so it may be the fact that they were cheap :) I certainly don't mind "investing" a few dollars in ones that will work! :)

I just use "post-it" notes. When they wear out, I replace them. Simple as that. :D

We use Post-it brand Notes to cover our completed blocks and 2" Flat Tabs to index our guides.

I use a 1" red Post-It flag (it looks like half tape and half red flag) to hold my current place. Then I use 1/2" Post-It flags in other colors to mark the things in the Appendix that I want to find quickly. I've always used the red flag in any book I'm using to mark my current spot, so it makes it easy to know where to turn to in any TM I am looking at.

The Post-It flags come off the books easily and can be moved each day. These are different than the Post-It tabs.

I use Post-It brand tabs that come in a five color pack; red, orange, yellow, green and blue. They are quite small. I write the abbreviation for the day of the week on the colored part of the tab (not the clear sticky end) Red= M for Monday, Orange= T for Tuesday, etc. HTH!

We also use post-it brand... I think mine are called arrow flags? I can't remember now. They are the things that you see on forms where you have to sign something :) Little arrows.
