Wonderful! Thank you so much for your help...again! I bought 10 composition books (not the fun, pretty ones  ~ my son would not appreciate those  ) and a bunch of binders. I have 90lb watercolor paper. Would that work?
There is an in-depth list of the painting supplies needed in the introduction. It recommends 140 lb. cold press paper. We started the year with 190g/m squared/90lb paper and it did not hold up well to the completely saturating background painting done. Even if you have to order the 140 lb. paper, do so. I could not find any at Micheal's or Hobby Lobby and found the 90 lb at Walmart. It was back to school time though and the art sections were sold out at Micheal's and Hobby Lobby.

Wow, I looked up 140lb at Amazon, for 12 sheets it was $19.71. Is that the norm for this paper?

Thank you,

I am not sure. I think it is pretty high but you will only need 1 sheet a week. So you will need 34 sheets for the year. I am not sure that ours is actually 140 lb. right now but it is student grade watercolor paper that I bought at a school supply store and is working better than the 90 lb.

I found it on amazon for $8.05 for 12 sheets. Still rather expensive, but much better.

Thanks, it's good to know how many sheets we'll need. I'm purchasing things like this slowly.
