How much time time for each box?

Post by sillybeans » Wed Feb 15, 2012 2:39 pm

Hi! I've been reading the board for a few days and just joined today! I think I've decided to switch curriculums from MFW K to HOD Little Hearts for His Glory for my 6 and 4 year olds. My question...about how much time does it take to complete each box in the lesson plans? I know I read this somewhere already, but now I can't find it! Thanks!!!

Just to add a little to that post... if you have a child who either discusses things really fast or will not discuss them at all... the plans take a lot less time :) With my DD2 who finished up LHFHG in Nov, she was done in about 45 minutes per day... no more than an hour. My 5yo who just started LHFHG, when we do a full days work it takes about an hour. She likes to draw out art projects and anything where she can draw instead of write or talk ;) My kids don't really do discussions on anything... meaning that they answer any questions without drawing out long answers. I have to make them use sentences.

My kids aren't really big on discussions either! But they will definitely take extra time on art projects, handwriting, etc.!
