Times for CtC

I am currently doing Preparing with my ds and am looking ahead to next year. I am wondering approximately how long CtC takes and the breakdown of the boxes. I tried to do a search as I'm sure this has been discussed but I couldn't find the information. Also, would CtC work well for a child that does not enjoy drawing, painting or crafts.
