We finished the biography for story time before the 20 days allotted. I went ahead and went onto another biography. Is their a reason to stretch one out to 20 days? Will it impact the program overall if we do more than one book for a genre? The book we did was Louis Braille, and it was on the shorter side.
Thank you!

Re: Story time...
The idea is to read in shorter segments for better retention, and to teach narration easier. With that said if it is a shorter book we sometimes do two for the genre and it has not been a problem for us.

Re: Story time...
I read two biographies because mine were very short, and I had a thing with inter-library loan where I didn't get the one in time so we started with a different one and then read the other after I got it. Anyway, with all the others I have stretched them out, it was definitely too much to read two in the 20 days so I figured keep it to one. The one we are reading now (fantasy), I think the sections are too long reading 1/20 of it each day. But we are plugging ahead!
