DITHOR editions

Post by jer2911mom » Tue Nov 29, 2011 8:23 pm

Hi,

Is there a difference between the spiral-bound (copyright 2001) and the lay-flat bound DITHOR teacher manuals? Was there an update or just a change in binding?

Thanks,
Kathy

I'm sorry I can't help. I didn't even know there ever was a spiral bound version. Hopefully this will bump up to the top and someone who knows can answer your question. :D

As far as I know, the spiral bound version is around ten years old. Especially if it has colored dividers in it, it is probably quite different than the current edition. The spiral bound was more of a test version and was the very first publication put out. You can see the first week of the current DITHOR edition here and compare it with the one you have...

I am not certain if the spiral bound even has the "Book Projects to Send Home" in it, or the correct pages for the DITHOR Student Books, as they were revised. You can look at the PDF's of the DITHOR Student Books online to see if they match as well. HTH!

I have a spiralbound DITHOR from 2002 and I have used it since then. It appears to have everything needed. We have used this and enjoyed it! Hope my copy isn't missing anything. There are 20 days of plans for 9 genre and it has 3 levels in each genre.
