Is there a link for Bigger as far as what is....

Post by BrooklynsMom03 » Sat Oct 01, 2011 7:57 pm

needed...I was looking thru the books today and I am feeling so excited to get started...but it looks quite a bit more involved than Beyond! I think we are going to have a great year...I am wondering too about the dictation...do you just do one of them a day? DITHOR looks a bit intense too...but I am feeling much more confident...now that I have the books and see them and can touch them! lol....Also someone mentioned using something that protected the pages of the TM so you could write on it but not the pages...does that make sense and if so what would it be? I wrote all over my Beyond TM but Bigger looks like it has smaller spaces..so wanted to keep it neater...Oh my...I am so excited to get this party started!!! lol...Beth in Idaho

Here's the link for setting up Bigger with pictures! viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5531

Dictation is only done one passage per day that it is scheduled. Read through the instructions in the appendix before starting. It explains how to the do the dictation. I didn't realize at first that I was supposed to go over the passage with my dc first and discuss any of the unusual spellings, homophones, etc. There's lots of great info in the appendix of the guides and I so often forget to read it!

DITHOR took me a while to get onto also. I felt intimidated by it at first too. It's really not that difficult just take the time to read through the TM first and then follow it step by step. :D

Bigger is more intense than Beyond, but it is a fabulous guide. We had such a great year with it! :D
