I just saw an ad for the new "Great Homeschool Convention" in Long Beach, CA in May 2012... and Heart of Dakota is on the exhibitor list!

I was wondering if/when HOD would come to California!

We're here! We just moved to Tarzana, CA (around Encino) from Washington. It's great to know there are more of you guys here! I was beginning to feel like we were the only homeschoolers around.

I mentioned this to a friend in Idaho...yesterday who is from California...and she asked if this is the CHEA conference....my friend said it was amazing...so hoping this is the conference....because my friend and I are talking of coming to it....when is it scheduled? Beth

CHEA is a different conference that is held in Pasadena in mid-July. I have been there a couple of times, and it is indeed a good conference. But, alas, no Heart of Dakota in the exhibition hall.

As far as I know, "Great Homeschool Convention" is new to California. I'm very interested in checking it out if HOD is going to be there!
