Sunday afternoon while my little ones napped, the rest of us had "quiet time" and my 5.5yo played quietly in his room. After a while he came out with this (completely unprompted work):

Translation: "Jesus died on the cross and got raised on the third day."
When free-writing he likes to use periods and upper case letters liberally. He doesn't seem to understand that the rules I tell him about their usage are not just arbitrary restrictions I'm inventing to take the fun out of writing.

Anyway, he said it was a sign to hang up as a reminder to everyone at church. He then ran off to make a sign to remind everyone that "God created the whole Earth." He wants to give that one to our Pastor (thankfully, our pastor doesn't need the reminder but I'm sure he'd be delighted with the gift all the same
