Geek confession :)

Post by krismoose » Wed Aug 17, 2011 9:45 pm

I am truly a geek. I was positively thrilled to cover all my HOD manuals with clear contact paper today, to protect them from some of the use/abuse I expect us to continue to put them through. Truly thrilled, no joke! Some of the dings and bends have already been masked a bit :D

Oooh, will you come do mine next? I tried to cover a book last year with contact paper and couldn't get it on straight without bubbles. It drove me nuts! I would love to have my Preparing manual covered, but I'm afraid to attempt for fear of making it a mess. I know it will go through plenty of spills and use this year and I would love for it to be protected, but I don't have the nerve to attempt covering it. Congratulations on your great work! :D

What a cool idea! :D But like pjdobro, I wouldn't have the nerve (or patience for that matter! ). I'll have 3 kids going through each program so I know they'll show the wear. I'd love to do that though! :D

A girl after my own heart. I covered all "my" books and I'm so glad I spent the effort. With two little boys in the house I've wiped several covers clean in the last month. My books would have looked quite icky from slobbery hands and sticky toddler fingers!

Now, try to tip over a bit of coffee on it and see how it holds up. Ha, ha, just kidding! I bet I had you gasping for breath there. I have not done this with my guides, but I have many other geek confessions that would fit in the "organization" category I could confess... but I won't. :D Enjoy your contact covered lovely guides! :D
