Viking Quest 1 - Raiders of the Sea

Post by cirons » Thu Aug 18, 2011 2:40 am

We just finished this book tonight as part of the history storytime for Preparing and oh, what a beautiful book!!! My dd now wants the rest of the series straight away so we can keep reading! I told her it will have to come as a Christmas present and she was ecstatic!
Such a great story of faith and courage and honesty...loved it. Are any more of these books scheduled in future manuals?? Otherwise, we will just purchase them!!

We did the same thing :D ! There is one more scheduled in RTR. It is Book 2 - Mystery of the Silver Coins. We did just like you and gobbled them all up 2 years ago when we did Preparing. Now we are in RTR and will read that one again ... they are still looking forward to it and I am glad we read them all while we were so excited about them. I have not seen any others listed anywhere. Enjoy!!!

Another book "The Invisible Friend" is actually included in the level 5/6 boy interest book pack within DITHOR. I don't think that would hold us back from just reading it though! They are great books!

My hubby read all of the series to my children a couple years ago, I gave each of them (including dad) a book in their Christmas stockings, and they were all thrilled. There are 5 in the series, and you can get all 5 through cbd.

My ds and I also loved that book. I am a mean mom though, I have made him wait until this year when we do RTR to read the second one. He is very excited! I will then let him read the third one as part of DITHOR.

Those were great books! Like everybody else, we loved the one from Preparing so much, we ordered the rest. I need to see if the author has any others. Don't wait, read them now!
