We have opted to do school year-round with taking a short break in the spring time. Right now we are doing LHFHG 1/2 speed and Beyond full speed 4 days a week in order to spread the 34 units out. So far, so good!
If this proves to continue to work well for us I'm wondering how to do the programs that are already scheduled for 4 days/week. How do you stretch those over a full year?

I haven't done a 4 day program, but my thoughts are that I'm going to continue the way I am now. We do school daily, and in between guides we do something else for "fun" a unit study or two. Between field trip days, days we just don't feel like doing school (sick, too beautiful outside, birthdays, whatever) our "breaks", and when we go out of town, there's not too many more days left to fill 
I'm actually looking forward to a 4 day week program so that we'll have more time to do extra stuff!
