what would I need...

Post by kerby » Wed Apr 16, 2008 3:59 pm

I am contemplating Preparing for my ds who will be in gr 5. I will be using R+S English gr 4 already so that would be covered. My question is more about the History/Science that I would need to get. I'm not completely sure of what I will need for pkgs. Can you tell me specifically which ones I would need?

AARGH! I've tried to reply twice, but my computer keeps crashing!

Anyway, third try is a charm, right?

I assume you're wanting to buy the packages off this site?

In that case, on this link you'll see what is needed
http://www.heartofdakota.com/preparing- ... ckages.php

The economy Package (includes the teachers Manual titled PREPARING)
$105.46

Science adder (9 books) $70.22

History Read Alouds Basic Package $81.75 OPTIONAL, but recommended. You could possibly do this from library, too....

Self study?? Not sure if that's requierd or not. I'm going to buy them, but I have a secret love for history. LOL

Drawn into the Heart of Reading Teachers manual and studend manual. Required.

Math, shown or pick your own. (Hint-- singapore has a placement guide if you're not sure)

English shown onthe page

Music-- shown ont he page, or pick your own.

Hope I got that right!

sorry for all the typos-- I have 2 kids climbing on me while typing!
