Need some advice

Post by lindacn78 » Fri Jul 29, 2011 11:59 am

I am considering HOD for starting out homeschooling this year. I have a 10 year old (just turning 10) daughter, and a 6 year old (turned 6 in April) daughter. I'm having trouble deciding which to buy for each one. My 10 year old just finished 3rd grade in public school and my 6 year old just finished kindergarten. I don't want to buy one or the other and realize it's too much or too little. Just need some advice from people using it. Also, I wondered if the school supplies needed are listed in the material. Thanks for any advice!!! I need to order soon so I can get familiar and get started! I'm excited!!

Welcome to HOD! :D Glad to have you here!

It might be better to post this question on the main board. Most people go there to view posts and answer questions, so that's a good place to post your questions! :D

One of the best tools for correct placement is the placement chart on the HOD website. Here's a link to get you started: http://www.heartofdakota.com/placing-your-child.php When you've had a chance to look it over, please share your thoughts on each of your sweet kiddos on the main board. There are a LOT of godly ladies that are ready, and willing to help you find the best program based on your children's skill levels. Placement is so important to having a great year of learning and growing with HOD.

You're in for a great year! Blessings!
