Spelling in Preparing Hearts?

Quick question~is spelling not a part of Preparing Hearts? I see vocabulary and grammar, but not spelling. Thanks in advance!

The spelling instruction is the dictation. It is noted in the daily plans in the LA box, and the dictation passages are in the Appendix. There are several levels to choose from. I continue to be amazed at the progress our dc have made in not only their spelling, but also in their writing, thanks to dictation. Here are some samples of the dictation passages:

Thank you Julie! I read that as soon as I posted my question. I'm on information overload~we start in 3 weeks and I'm feeling a bit nervous about doing 2 guides. A good nervous~we're all looking forward to a brand new start, a refreshing school year~and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Lord has led us here and HE never fails!
