Could those of you who have repeated LHTH explain exactly how you've done it? My plan was to start LHFHG half speed (left side) with my 4 year old twins but after reviewing the materials, I'm thinking that I might wait one more year so they can get more out of the readings. I'm thinking at this point to repeat LHTH doing the Bible/Fingerplay/Music/and Art activities and use the ABC Bible Verses and work on Bible Memory with those verses each week. They have already begun TRL so we'll just continue on with that. My question is about Fine Motor and Math. They are already able to write their capital letters (did Handwriting without Tears PreK book this year). Do any of you do the Fine Motor and Math from LHFHG with your 4 year olds? How exactly do you do it? Full speed or half speed and what does half speed look like for those? Do you supplement the LHTH with anything else?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Repeating LHTH
Re: Repeating LHTH
My DD is currently doing her second year with LHTH. She does the fingerplays, bible stories, bible activities, art activities, dramatic play, active exploration, math activities etc. in the guide using the older options. We do use the older option bible and devotional this year too for a slight change of pace there. I added in Abeka K5 phonics and reading for her and I have a "Big Kindergarten" workbook that I got from Walmart that she does while my son is doing the letter activities, number pages, or color pages from LHTH since she is more advanced there.

Re: Repeating LHTH
We repeated LHTH this year with my dd but using only the older options for the Bible/Devotional books and did the fingerplays again just because they're so much fun.
From the LHFHG guide, she used Do it Carefully & Finding the Answers workbooks from LHFHG and Singapore's Earlybird Math (using the plans in the LHFHG guide - we had it from my oldest). She has LOVED these things!
She's used 100 EZ lessons and TRL but we're taking a break now - though she was definitely ready to read, the excitement wasn't there after a few weeks so I'm waiting until fall to pick it back up.
Then, this fall when she does LHFHG for her K year, she'll use the Thinking Skills workbook option and finish Earlybird 2B (we've slowed down with the addition) and then move into 1A for math.

Re: Repeating LHTH
This is really helpful! My DD will be in K next year and while I've thought she might not like the fingerplays, we DO have soooo many extra materials and will be doing an added co-op with some new friends. Doing what you are all suggesting will allow us to do LHFHG for first grade, which is what I wanted to do all along, but have waffled back and forth.
