Prayer Request and new baby news ...

Hello ladies,

I have a friend's burden to share with you godly women and to request prayer for her and her family. My friend, Maria, from my homeschool group was diagnosed with breast cancer last week. This was a sudden and unexpected diagnosis. She is undergoing surgery today, May 13th. She is a young (30's) Mom to six beautiful children and is currently 20 weeks pregnant. Please pray for her and the baby during surgery today and for any ongoing treatments that will be needed. Maria and her family are a strong Christian family and are trusting in the Lord's will, but I know they would most certainly appreciate your prayers.

Also, we have a new baby BOY!

Evan Avery was born on Mother's Day, May 8th @ 3:23pm weighing in at 9lb. 9 oz!

Congratulations to you with your new baby!

I will pray for your friend Maria! My Mom died of breast cancer so I know how devastating a disease it can be.
However I know that the Lord is gracious and compassionate and I pray that His grace will be with Maria and her family and that He will bring healing to her body so that she can take care of her 6 kiddo's and the current pregnancy can be maintained during her time of surgery and afterward.

I'll be praying for your sweet friend. She is the same age as one of my friends here, who has 5 kids and is 24 weeks along in expecting her sixth, so when I see my friend, it'll be a reminder to me to lift up your friend too.

My mom had breast cancer as well. She has hit her 10 year clean mark this year! Praise GOD! She was 43, so not quite as young as your friend but still young. It is always so sad to hear of any one young and with children going through cancer. Would she be open to adding some more natural stuff to her treatments? Here is a link for essiac tea.

Thank you so much ladies. Maria has had her surgery and is quite comfortable and pain free. I will update again soon.

CONGRATULATIONS on your precious baby boy!!! He is beautiful...how incredibly special he was born on Mother's Day! Our DS who was born last August was almost named Evan too...DH decided to go with Ezra instead!
