Sharing a HOD moment Early

Post by shera » Mon Apr 07, 2008 7:29 pm

My kids this week in church learned about David and Goliath. My little one brought home a tracing of her as a giant and was all excited to tell about the story. Well today in LHFHG we learned about David and Goliath. How very 8) . We taped up a face up by our 8 foot ceiling and threw socks at it. Even my little one got in the act. Both my ds and dd had a blast throwing socks at this thing and then pretending to cut its head off with a sword.

This would not have been an activity I would have come up with on my own. Thanks Carrie.

Sarah,

Ahh! Another one of those "LHFHG teasers"!!!! How am I going to cope? I still have quite a few months before we get to begin all of this good stuff in LHFHG (of course, LHTH rocks as well!).

I can totally relate to not being able to come up with this related activity on my own, no way! Looking forward to this, thanks for sharing!

Oh Sarah! That is so fun! I love it when things fall into place like that. I know it can only be the Lord's hand and His perfect timing. It always gives me pause to think that the Lord has time to orchestrate even the little things in our day-to-day!

Thanks for sharing! :D

Blessings,
Carrie
